Dear Tribal Leader and Education Stakeholders:

I am writing to invite you to participate in Tribal consultation on proposed changes to the Bureau of Indian Education Flandreau and Kyle Education Resource Centers in South Dakota. The proposed changes focus on ERC staffing and the physical location of office space at the Flandreau and Kyle ERCs.

We look forward to speaking with you on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (local time) during the Lakota Nations Invitational Education Conference at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel, Convention Center II, in Legion I Room, Rapid City, SD, 57701.

In addition to joining the consultation session noted above, please submit any written comments to consultationcomments@bie.edu or mail to Juanita Mendoza, 1849 C Street, NW, MS 3609, Washington, D.C. 20240 by January 18, 2025.
